Spear Phishing Attacks on Law Firms

Law firms, particularly those with elderly attorneys, are being targeted by spear phishing attacks. Attackers use publicly available staff names to gain trust and attempt to trick victims into downloading remote tools or uploading files to a web site. When initial attempts fail, attackers escalate to in-person visits to gain physical access.
