Improving Hypertension Risk Assessment
Current methods for assessing hypertension risk, such as BMI, may not accurately capture an individual's risk. A more precise measurement, waist to height ratio (WHtR), has been found to be a better predictor of hypertension risk. However, the use of WHtR is not yet widespread, and there is a need for better risk assessment tools.
