Improving AI Scribe Quality in Clinical Note-Taking
The study found that human-generated clinical notes were of higher quality than those generated by AI scribes from 11 vendors across 5 simulated clinic cases. The AI scribes showed significant deficits in thoroughness, organization, and usefulness. This highlights a challenge in achieving high-quality output from ambient AI scribes in clinical settings.
