Trivially Exploitable Linux Logic Bug
A logic bug in Linux, known as Copy Fail (CVE-2026-31431), allows for trivial exploitation to gain root access on major distributions released in the last 9 years. This vulnerability affects shared machines running Linux kernels from 2017 onward, posing a significant security risk. The bug enables attackers to easily escalate privileges using a small, portable Python script.
