Linux Kernel Vulnerability Allows Unprivileged Root Access

A newly discovered vulnerability in the Linux kernel, known as Fragnasia, allows unprivileged local attackers to gain root privileges. This security flaw stems from a logic bug in the Linux XFRM ESP-in-TCP subsystem. The vulnerability can enable attackers to write arbitrary bytes to the kernel page cache of read-only files.
