Standardizing Oncology Genomic Information
The lack of standardization in oncology genomic data creates significant challenges for molecular tumor board workflows, cohort generation, and downstream analytics. Fragmented data from various sources, including VCF files, molecular pathology PDF reports, and vendor-specific biomarker formats, hinders interoperability and reconciliation. This issue affects oncology informatics, molecular pathology, bioinformatics, and clinical genomics. The challenge is to transform this fragmented data into explainable, standardized, and interoperable outputs.
