Understanding GDOI Encryption

The author is struggling to understand how GDOI (Group Domain of Interpretation) protocol works with encryption. Despite following Cisco's configuration guide, they observed that packet captures show no ISAKMP messages, only UDP payloads with port 848, and plain data in the payload. They are puzzled about the encryption mechanism used.
