Overcoming Limitations of Discrete Cognitive Architectures
The project encountered several challenges, including attractor states and trajectory collapse, information density limits, and adversarial noise decay. These limitations hinder the effectiveness of discrete cognitive architectures. Attractor states cause semantic trajectories to collapse, while information density limits restrict the amount of orthogonal symbolic data that can be bound into a single vector. Adversarial noise decay also affects the algebraic properties of VSA.
