Improving AI Accuracy in Medical Diagnosis

The use of AI in medical diagnosis can lead to false positives, extra tests, and increased anxiety. There is a need to validate AI models in real-world settings and improve their accuracy. The current AI model, EchoNext, showed a drop in performance when deployed in a real-world setting. Better metrics are needed for emergency department deployment.
