Improving Depth Estimation in Challenging Scenes
Accurately estimating depth in scenes with glass, reflective, dark, or thin objects is a persistent challenge in computer vision and mobile robotics. Current methods, including monocular depth models and RGB-D cameras, have limitations in these scenarios. There is a need for more robust and accurate depth estimation techniques that can handle these difficult cases.
