Vulnerability in Linux Kernels
A regression in the DirtyFrag kernel fix has led to a new vulnerability, DirtyClone (CVE-2026-43503), allowing for potential local privilege escalation. This vulnerability exists in certain Linux kernels, including some Long Term Support (LTS) kernels, due to a corruption primitive that was left reachable after the original patch.
