Blocking Internal Spoofing with Proofpoint on MX Records

An end user's email account was compromised, resulting in emails being sent to herself from her own address, bypassing Proofpoint's MX record protection. The issue seems to stem from internal spoofing, where emails are sent through Microsoft 365, which is not properly blocked by Proofpoint.
