Limitations of Current Civilization Classification Systems

Current systems, like the Kardashev scale, measure civilization advancement by energy consumption, which is flawed as it rewards inefficiency. This approach does not accurately reflect the progression of technology, which tends towards greater efficiency. A new classification system is needed to better capture the essence of civilization advancement.
