Achieve Meta-Logical Mastery
Develop formal logic systems that can reason about logic itself, analyze logical systems as objects of study, and discover new logical principles through logical analysis of logic. Meta-logical mastery would enable logic systems to study their own logical foundations, compare different logical systems rigorously, and develop new logical frameworks through logical reasoning about logic itself. Current meta-logic is limited and cannot provide complete logical analysis of logical systems themselves. The challenge involves developing logical frameworks that can handle self-reference without paradox, creating logical methods for analyzing logical systems, and ensuring that meta-logical reasoning remains logically sound and productive. Success would enable logical discovery of new logical principles, provide complete logical understanding of logical systems themselves, and create foundations for logical systems that can improve logic itself through logical reasoning.
