Achieve Meta-Learning

Develop ML systems that can learn how to learn, acquiring learning strategies that can be quickly adapted to new tasks and domains. Meta-learning, or learning to learn, would enable ML systems to become more efficient learners by acquiring domain-general learning strategies. Current ML systems must be retrained from scratch for each new task, but meta-learning systems could quickly adapt their learning approach based on task characteristics. The challenge involves developing algorithms that can learn effective learning strategies and transfer them across diverse tasks. Success would dramatically reduce the time and data required to learn new tasks.
