Decode the Complete Cellular Communication Network
Map and understand the intricate web of chemical signals that cells use to communicate with each other, enabling precise control of cellular behavior for therapeutic purposes. Cells communicate through an incredibly complex network of chemical signals including hormones, growth factors, neurotransmitters, and small molecules. Current knowledge covers only a fraction of these interactions, and we lack tools to monitor and manipulate this communication network comprehensively. This challenge requires developing technologies to detect and quantify thousands of signaling molecules simultaneously, understanding how signals are processed and integrated by receiving cells, and creating methods to precisely control cellular communication.
