Circular Agriculture: Closing the Loop on Farm Waste
Linear agricultural systems waste enormous amounts of nutrients, energy, and materials that could be recycled. The sustainability challenge is creating circular systems where waste from one process becomes input for another - using crop residues for energy, converting animal manure to fertilizer, and recycling nutrients through integrated farming systems. This requires redesigning farm operations and developing new technologies for waste processing. Can agriculture become truly circular?
