Without perfect network scaling, networks will continue experiencing performance problems during traffic spikes or wasting resources during low traffic periods, limiting their effectiveness and increasing costs. Success would enable networks that handle any traffic volume optimally, providing consistent performance while minimizing costs regardless of demand variations.
