Preserving Data History in Traditional Databases

Traditional databases only show the current state of data, omitting its history. This limitation makes it difficult to track changes and understand the sequence of events that led to the current state. For instance, in a user's account, only the current balance is visible, not the series of transactions that resulted in that balance.
