Applying Optimal Control Theory to Biological Systems

There is a need to adapt Optimal Control Theory for abstract, non-robotics/mechanics settings and apply it to biological systems, such as evolutionary dynamics. Existing resources may not adequately cover both areas. A comprehensive approach is required to bridge the gap between Optimal Control Theory and biological applications.
