Misconfigured OSPF Defaults Causing Transient Network Issues

The OSPF network is experiencing transient issues where traffic drops and alarms fire, but recovers within 30-40 seconds. The recovery is suspected to be due to untuned defaults that have been copied across device replacements. The issue seems to stem from outdated SPF initial delay timers set for obsolete hardware.
