Understanding Anomalous Droplet Attraction

The phenomenon of IPA droplets being attracted to existing water droplets, resulting in changes to droplet shape before merging, is not well-explained by existing literature. This attraction seems to occur regardless of the angle of placement and becomes more pronounced as droplets get closer.
